If you have some experience with Joomla!, then you might be asking yourself " Yeah, but how do they handle this situation.. ?"  In anticipation for such questions, we've gone ahead and prepared this page, hoping to answer some of those questions for you.

What Menu System Will I Get with My Template?

Apart from the standard vertical Joomla module menu, we include 1 of the following 3 types of top Menu systems with the templates we construct.  These are:

• SuperSucker
• SuckerFish
• MooTools Animated SuckerFish
  

Do You Build the Template as FIxed or Fluid Layout?

This depends on what you want, and what the source was designed to be. It is usually possible to make a fluid as well as fixed layout for any look without breaking the template.

What About Multiple-Column Layouts?

Perhaps the look you want uses several columns. We can build your template with up to 5 columns across. This is more than most websites would employ. Each column "disappears" when information is not fed to it by Joomla. The only imperative and ever-present column is the main content area.

And Module Positions?

Of course, one of the fabulous things about Joomla's structure, is its ability for displaying or hiding certain information in what are referred to as ' module positions '. These locations on the page should be present only when information is loading into them, thus they are often called 'contractible' positions. As we develop your Joomla template from the information you've provided, we'll create the module positions which are obviously designated in the original design you submit, and all of them will be contractible. *This is why it is helpful for you to include an image - not only of the homepage - but also of one internal page, reflecting the various layout possibilities.

Can You Style My Specialty Modules?

Joomla! is a HUGE project, and so much development has taken place since its birth, bringing thousands of good 3rd party plugins into the mix. The best plugins will rely on the template itself for some styling information. Our services are primarily for the conversion of one template or template source into a fully-functional Joomla template. However, if the need for further customization beyond the base template be required, we'll gladly consider the job.

What If My Template Contains Flash?

We are able to manipulate the Flash if needed for an extra fee. In many cases we will not need the original Flash source .fla - we are often able to reverse-enginee usable source from the .swf itself.
